As the Payroll Administrator you will be expected to support the European Payroll Specialist in the preparation of the end-to-end designated European payroll process. This will include support in completing the necessary legal paperwork for employees, supporting payroll processing both locally and through the Payroll team, assisting in the gathering of data to assist in responding to manager and employee queries.

The role is based at the head office of this FTSE 100 E-commerce company in Luton. The office is bright and open plan which encourages an open culture. There is free car parking and an onsite canteen.

The payroll team process pay for almost 9000 staff across Europe and therefore you will need to have previous experience working on a high volume payroll and have excellent customer service skills. You will also need a detailed understanding of UK payroll processes including PAYE & National Insurance, Sickness & Maternity processing. You will need to be able to create v-lookups and pivot tables within Excel and will be expected to undertake a large amount of manual data entry work as part of your role.
