Our client, a large public sector organisation based in East Berkshire, are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. As a payroll administrator it would be your job to make sure that people are paid correctly and on time. Payroll administrators typically work with weekly, biweekly or monthly deadlines and thus should have strong time management and organizational skills. Good accounting and mathematical reasoning skills are important in calculating deductions and in problem solving. Payroll systems are often computerized and so administrators must be proficient with computer software packages, particularly spreadsheet and database programs.

You will need to manage your time and be organised so you can meet strict deadlines. You'll also need to pay close attention to detail and work accurately.
