Payments Business Development Manager

A market leading payments company requires a Business Development Manager with excellent experience within the Payments industry on a contract basis. The overall role purpose is to drive the adoption of a new product through the management and commercial engagement primarily with Acquirers/Gateways, but also CFI's and merchants in collaboration with the wider sales team.

The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:
* Experience in the Payments industry either at a CFI, significant acquirer or other payments provider;
* Proven project management skills;
* Extensive network of contacts in the Payments eco system.
* Has sold to CFI's/Acquirers and/or merchants, management responsible for managing the end to end process including contract negotiation for significant deals in the finance/payments sectors.

Also needed:
* Customer focused - can demonstrate a balance between meeting customer requirements and achieving the objectives of the organisation;
* Commercial skills - Has previously been involved in contract negotiation of significant deals including developing contract schedules;
* Excellent presentation skills, this includes developing winning presentations as well as presenting them;
* Attitude
* Proven experience in stakeholder management at a senior level;
* Team player and can influence and manage people in a Matrix environment;
* Ability to formulate ideas, articulate influence and implement them
* Flexibility - Willingness to adapt and flex with requirements of the role and be prepared to accommodate change.
