Location: Kobacker House- Hospice
Date: 19 week contract
Start Date: 10/27/14
End Date: 3/14/15 Hours/Shift:
Night Shift 3-12 hour shifts from 7:00PM-7:30AM Monday-Friday but work some weekends and holidays as needed.
Summary:
This is a 24 bed in-patient hospice unit. Houses hospice patients at all points along disease continuum. Average daily census is 24 with PSA to patient ratio of 1:8 on night shift. Job
Duties/Requirements:
Must have previous CAN/PSA experience (Minimum 3.5 years) preferably in inpatient setting. Must have proficiency taking vital signs Must be able to assist patients with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, walking, and repositioning and transferring the patient. Must be compassionate and have exp. With end of life care. Familiar with electronic medical documentation Must work closely with the RN/LPN team members Focus must be patient centered. Must exhibit solid teamwork.
