Pathology Specimen Accessioner Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PATHOLOGY SPECIMEN ACCESSIONER to join our client in Framingham, MA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for receiving and properly identifying samples.
- Sorting samples according to protocol and inspections for sample integrity.
- Performing daily initial data entry into laboratory information system and deliver samples to appropriate histology labs for processing.
- Manage and maintain the sample inventory for research and clinical samples performed within the department.
- Additionally, you will maintain temperature charts and assist with ordering supplies.

Job Qualifications:

- Experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Ability to comply with written protocols, documentation requirements and safety policies are essential.
- Computer skills required
- BA/BS or five (5) years of experience in a specimen management setting.
