PART TIME Incident Management Analyst Suppport, Rotterdam

PART TIME Incident Management Analyst support, 16hrs per week.

Our end client in Rotterdam requires a resource to support business specific incident investigations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Incident, Threat and Vulnerability Business (emergency) response:
- Assist in the (emergency) response to IRM Incidents, Threats and Vulnerabilitiies (TVI) in order to limit the impact for the business
- Document and report on results of response in order to facilitate learning from past incidents, threats and vulnerabilities
- Analyze, document and report on root causes and create findings resulting from incident response activities
- Assist in implementation of TVI management procedures,
- Assist in implementation procedures for collecting and retaining (potential forensic) evidence of incidents and advise incident managers in this area (Incidents)
- Assist in Implementation of procedures for performing penetration tests, code inspection and vulnerability assessments (Vulnerabilities)
- Seek advise of experts and/or authorities when the analysis involves legal and regulatory issues
- Assist in identifying the root cause of incidents or vulnerabilities (IncidentsI and Vulnerabilities)
- Communicate issues and learnings to appropriate stakeholders.

Technical Skills and Experience:
MANDATORY: Possesses a general understanding of the business applications of IT.
Has a sound understanding of the principles and practices involved in IT development, maintenance and service delivery.
Has detailed knowledge and experience in incident management, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing etc

OPTIONAL: CISSP, GSEC, GCIH qualification preferred.

Soft Skills and Experience:
MANDATORY: Demonstrates strong evidence of analytical ability and attention to detail 
Has a structured approach to documentation, and able to use the documentation management tools available.
Demonstrates good inter-personal skills.
Has a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving with demonstrable verbal and written communications skills.
Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities. Able to plan, schedule and monitor work within set targets.

OPTIONAL: Significant experience (> 2 years) in IRM-related roles, Information Security roles or having worked with IRM through an IT Delivery, Project role or Business IT role.
