PART-TIME Greeting CARD Merchandiser

WE REQUIRE A PART TIME GREETING CARD MERCHANDISER!
LOCATION: SHAUNAVON, SK
6-12 hours a MONTH
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Greeting Cards Merchandiser contributes to MCA's success by providing exceptional results-driven service to both chain and independent retailers in SHAUNAVON and surrounding territory. Reporting to the Territory Field Supervisor, the Merchandiser maintains all aspects of the Hallmark Greeting Card department and develops and maintains strong store level communication links to facilitate flawless and timely program execution, and delivers ultimate retailer satisfaction. They must be both committed and innovative. The position offers schedule flexibility, and a variety of programs and opportunities, that are fun and challenging, and in a variety of retail work environments!
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Generate and display reorders of all Everyday card and non-card products to maintain full counter displays to maintain inventory levels
- Display seasonal cards for all occasions, and complete credits and returns, where applicable
- Create and maintain seasonal/promotional End of Aisle displays, where applicable
- Maintain regular and timely communication with your Territory Field Supervisor regarding your accounts
- Complete your scheduled calls in a timely and efficient manner including entering program information on the MCA web
- Maximize retail sales and presence
- Maximize point of purchase (POP) advantage
- Ability to read and implement planograms and future updated planogram maintenance
- Display and tear down season displays and seasonal cards for all occasions and complete credit and returns where applicable
- Execute Head Office and Client Directives accordingly
- Work with a team to revise displays
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Merchandising or retail experience is an asset
- Home based computer with Internet access or daily access to Internet
- Digital camera
- Ability to lift 20-40 lbs
- Driver's license and access to an insured motor vehicle
- Flexibility as the workload could increase during certain seasons
- Excellent planning and time management
- Attention to detail
