Part Time English Teacher

Part Time English Teacher required.

English specialist required for additional support on a part time basis. Working with small groups of KS4 pupils, you will provide additional support to ensure attainment levels of pupils are met. This would mean working with pupils on the D/C borderline, following schemes of work, reviewing class based learning and supporting in areas that pupils are struggling.

This will be working 2.5 days in the week, with some flexibility required as the timetable is being reviewed. To apply for this role, you need to hold QTS, be an English specialist and ideally have a track record or experience of raising attainment levels. Under the last OFSTED review, this school was noted to have had a significant improvement in exam results across a wide range of subjects, and how the quality of teaching has improved.
