Part Data Management Engineer Job

PART DATA MANAGEMENT ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Milwaukee, WI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Collaborate with engineers and other contractors in creating and maintaining the parts database for new product designs or sustaining engineering as needed.
- Ensure that the database is up-to-date with relevant specifications, Bill of Materials, part and assembly drawings, verification results, supplier information, change requests implementation, and compliance information like quality and regulatory information and design ownership.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical or other relevant discipline with three to five (3 - 5) years of hands-on experience in a design, documentation and sustaining engineering.
- Medical device experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- EXPERIENCE WITH PDM TOOLS, like myworkshop, Agile or similar. Agile experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability of being methodical with an eye to detail and minutiae and the able to respond rapidly to requests is a must.
- Crisp communication skills and the ability to simplify complex data into clear, cogent and actionable information is a must.
- Demonstrated ability of having worked in a structured environment and in collaboration with other engineering teams is required.
