Parking Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Parking Officer to work within a small parking enforcement team based in Blackburn. The role will be varied and includes assisting with the enforcement of a car park, issuing Parking Charge Notices and the related administrative duties. Other duties may include cash control, maintenance of Pay & Display machines and Customer Service.

The role requires flexibility to cover sickness/holidays and includes lone working.
* A confident individual, who has good oral and written communication skills, is well organised and able to manage and prioritise their own workload.
* Must have experience in an administrative role along with experience of maintaining office and administrative systems.
* Must be numerate and with a strong attention to detail.
* Must have excellent customer services skills.
* Must have proficient IT skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Intranet/Internet systems.
* Must be an excellent team player but also be able to work on their own initiative.

Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge of private parking enforcement.
* Experience of Parking Charge Notice processing.
* Full clean driving licence.
