Paralegal/Junior Lawyer - in House - Commercial Contracts

PARALEGAL - IN HOUSE - COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS - FINANCIAL SERVICES

A leading global Financial Services organisation are currently recruiting an in-house Paralegal/Junior Lawyer to join them on contract basis in central London.

The Junior Lawyer will be providing assistance on a large transformational programme. The organisation are currently undergoing a replacement telecoms project where they are looking to save circa $150m pa by replacing their key telecoms provider with a number of multiple vendors and in-sourcing a number of functions (regulatory, billing, finance, HR, legal, etc.)

Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Supporting the contracting processes and risk assessment policies
- Support governance and approval processes
- Negotiating and drafting robust contracts
- Supporting terms in order to reflect the organisations buying power or risk requirements
- Reviewing and revising standard agreements and documentation

Key requirements:

- 2:1 Degree in Law LLB LCP
- Minimum 1-2 years Paralegal/Junior Lawyer experience
- Passion to work in Financial Services
- Experience
- Experience of working in house within a regulated environment
