We currently have a new opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Secretariat Function on a 12 months fixed term contract, with the opportunity learn about our dynamic organisation and the important social housing sector in which we work.

The vision of the Secretariat team is to be recognised as an influential centre of excellence providing legal and governance services, dynamic responses and innovative solutions in a cost effective and collaborative manner.

The focus of this role is to manage legal boundary enquiries relating to all of Sovereign's properties and ensure resolution of those queries by various means, liaising with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders on a daily basis.

The successful Paralegal will maintain an appropriate and effective system to ensure property boundary enquiries are logged and processed in accordance with our procedures to ensure an excellent customer focused service is delivered at all times.

Applicants should have gained practical experience working within a legal firm or land owner, ideally as a Paralegal, and have experience of dealing with large estates or property portfolios in either the public or private sector. Candidates must be educated to Degree Level (or equivalent), will ideally hold a legal qualification and possess the necessary meticulous approach and decision making ability to thrive in this rewarding role.
