PADS DX Designer PCB Design, 6 Months, North Wales

You Must have the following skill sets:

The essential skills/attributes are: -

1 Excellent skills in PCB layout using the Mentor Graphics PADS PCB Design Tools with DX-Designer and the associated Databook libraries.
2 Strong experience in the design of dense surface mount device based circuit boards operating at up to 50MHz.
3 Strong awareness of analogue and digital electronic design principles.
4 Experience in electronic CAD design for EMC compliance together with controlled impedance PCB designs.
5 High level of PC literacy across the Microsoft Office suite.
6 The proven ability to multi-task on a number of projects.
7 Strong "solution orientation".

Desirable skills: additional ideal experiences should include :-

1 Clear understanding of the issues related to ensuring that PCB manufacturers are operating to the correct principles for management of impedance and track resistance etc for critical PCBs.
