Packet Switched Network Engineer - PS Core Engineer
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science or equivalent experience) or combination of related education and experience.
- Good understanding of operator business drivers and technologies in the packet switch network area.
- Working knowledge of SGSN equipment; Ericsson SGSN proven experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of GGSN equipment; Cisco or Starent GGSN proven experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of PCRF equipment; Openet of PCRF experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of MSP equipment and DNS Servers, vendor agnostic.
Personal Skills
- Responsible, service minded, flexible, taking initiatives, highly motivated - self-starter
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with teams from different locations
- Organized and disciplined: works according to processes and procedures
- Understand the interest of internal and external customers
- Strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Ability to link the customer requests to our services and service development
- Should be flexible to work in 24x7 mode when needed
- Customer consulting skills, able to advise in a convincing way, verbally as well as on paper
- Strong knowledge of English or Spanish language, spoken and written.
