PACKAGING TECHNOLOGY LEADER WANTED FOR OUR BASEL BASED CLIENT IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Proven expertise in packaging development
- Excellent knowledge of physics and mechanical/material engineering, as well as interaction between drugs and their primary packaging and secondary packaging.
- Extensive experience of processes and regulations for development of medical devices and drug/device combination products
- Familiarity with ISO Standards 11608
- LANGUAGES: FLUENT ENGLISH BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN
YOUR TASKS:
- Coordinating packaging development activities with the project team members for assigned projects
- Maintaining knowledge in the areas of materials (glass, polymers, rubbers, silicone/lubricants, sterile barrier systems, adhesives).
- Establishing packaging concepts to support early phase development
- Conducting feasibility assessments on new technology/packaging concepts
- Developing early and late phase packaging prototypes using rapid prototyping, machined and/or soft tooling
