Packaging Technician/Mechanic III Job

PACKAGING TECHNICIAN III is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MALVERN, PA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- GMP Environment
- Troubleshoot Packaging equipment
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Operate, troubleshoot and perform maintenance on packaging equipment while adhering to established GMP guidelines. (eg. High-speed blister equipment, bottling, labeling systems, and carding/walleting equipment).
- Write SOPs relating to packaging equipment and implement validation plans for equipment as required
- Setup packaging equipment within the GMP rooms to maximize efficiency of operations
- May interact with other groups to develop packaging designs (eg. Communicate equipment constraints and equipment tooling timelines)
- Mechanical aptitude is required. Electrical capabilities and electrical wiring troubleshooting is preferred
- Work is assigned and reviewed by Packaging Supervisor, Production Supervisors, and/or Team Leaders.
- Instructions will be in the form of written batch records as well as verbal instructions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum High School diploma/GED or AS degree and a minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical packaging industry experience is preferred within a GMP environment
- Working knowledge of various packaging equipment is preferred
- Horizontal labelers.
- Thermoform and coldform Blister Machines.
- Bottle lines -filling, capping, sealing
- Carding Operations.
