Packaging Operator

Provide packaging services of pharmaceuticals products in accordance to work schedule; inspect to ensure that packaged products are in acceptable physical conditions for the clients and consumers; inspect products from packaging lines with respect to the labels, lot number, expiration dates and products physical quality; perform product bulk filling; operate packaging equipment and machinery; assist in the cleaning and assembly of equipment; maintain registry of the destroyed printed material during the manufacturing process; pack and palletize. Shrink wrap skid product. Prepare product for destruction. Must stay within GMP compliance.

SKILLS:
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience packaging and inspecting pharmaceuticals products
- Must have production experience, and making batches and packaging.
- Experience operating, cleaning and assembling of packaging equipment and machinery
- Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines.
- Must be self motivated and have a strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills required.
- knowledge of safe working procedures. Safety knowledge and the ability to work safely is required.
- Ability to operate forklift/industrial lifts and blending and processing equipment. Needs to be able to climb ladders and lift between 50-55lbs regularly.
- Able to maintain clean and orderly work place. Forklift Certification desired
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) desired
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required, specifically the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of GMP requirements.
- Batching & Blending experience is preferred
- Packaging experience is needed--labeling.
