Packaging Operator

Entry level manufacturing position, performing and learning basic, repetitive manufacturing or packaging operations. Responsible for operation and control of manufacturing/packaging/inspection machinery. Documents and monitors manufacturing/packaging/inspection operations. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards and all regulatory requirements.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or Associates Degree
High school with basic math and reading comprehension (meet minimal test requirements);
Minimal training/experience;
Unskilled work;
Detailed instructions.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must not be allergic or sensitive to Cephalosporin/Penicillin and also successfully pass a vision exam.
- Position requires extended periods of standing, walking and sitting with ability to lift 20 lbs with moderate frequency.
- Must be able to learn quickly, follow specific instruction, maintain focus/interest and work at required line speed.
- Must maintain good attendance and attitude with ability to work effectively with large groups of people.
- Must be available for weekend OT
- MUST have shift flexibility.
