Packaging Materials Expert

A leading global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Packaging Materials Expert to be responsible for a global packaging standardisation program. This position will be developing standards and processes across divisions so will be integral in the overall delivery of the program.

Location: Basel, Switzerland
Duration: 12 months +

Role and Responsibilities:
Creating and standardising global process validation procedures across all packaging sites
Ensuring global cross divisional standardisation for topics such as line clearance, extractables & leachables
Developing standards and specifications for new packaging equipment together with engineering departments
Creating global standards for stability studies on packaging materials
Creating global standards for shipping studies

Requirements:
Degree educated in Materials Science/Engineering or similar
Able to demonstrate vast experience of working with pharmaceutical packaging processes and materials
Extensive knowledge of packaging materials, including polymer and foil
Good knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations
Previous history of delivering projects on a global program with stakeholders around the world
Languages: English Essential
