Packaging Expert wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 3-6 years of experience in relevant field with excellent knowledge of state-of-art technology/equipment/regulation
- Prior experience developing Primary and Secondary packaging process for medical devices, pharmaceutical and chemical products.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in a relevant field. Ph.D. would be advantageous
- Capability to work in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural teams as well as the ability of taking a leading role
- Exceptional presentation skills and scientific/technical writing skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Coordinating packaging development activities with the project team members for assigned projects
- Maintaining knowledge in the areas of materials (glass, polymers, rubbers, silicone/lubricants, sterile barrier systems, adhesives) and manufacturing (injection moulding, glass converting, rubber moulding, assembly, fill&finish, transport validation)
- Conducting feasibility assessments on new technology and packaging concepts
- Developing early and late phase packaging prototypes using rapid prototyping, machined and/or soft tooling
