Packaging Engineer

One of our clients, an international company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Packaging Engineer with min. 4 years' experience

Length: min. 6 months
Location: South of Brussels

1) Environment/Project:

2) Deliverables of the Mission:

- To perform technical feasibility studies and proof of concept testing
- To write URS
- To review offers from vendors
- To issue a technical recommendation (choice of technical solution and vendor)
- To review FS, SDS, and HDS
- To review mechanical, electrical and pneumatic diagrams
- To perform risk assessments (quality and safety)
- To perform parameter analysis
- To follow-up manufacturers (design, manufacturing, testing)
- To write and/or review FAT, SAT and IQ-OQ protocols
- To perform FAT, SAT and IQ-OQs
- To schedule design, installation and testing activities

3) Specific Skills/Training Requirements:

- Packaging equipment (labelling, cartoning, thermo forming, glass container handling)
- Packaging components (cartons, labels, vignettes, PVC film, PE films)

GS1 standards (datamatrix, linear barcodes, serialization)

- Printing technologies (Laser marking, inkjet, dod, etc)
- Automatic Vision Inspections (OCV, serialization)
- Project Management (scheduling, scope management, cost trol)
- Camera Systems

4) Language Requirements:

- French
- English
