Package Manager Fleet Movement

Currently our client, a market leading Energy provider and operator of offshore assets, is looking to onboard an experienced PM to coordinate vessel movement(s), charters and transfers.

We would require to onboard an individual with a track record in Fleet Management.

The role will be involve the efficient management of a fleet of crew transfer and ancillary vessels that is likely to reach around 20 by summer 2013.

You will have day to day accountability for management of a wide range of activities including:

- Health & safety
- Onshore and offshore Co-ordination
- Programme
- Cost & Commercial Management
- Risk Management
- Compliance with the charter agreements.

Knowledge and Skills:

-Experience in a similar role with a level of competency in project management.
-Significant and demonstrable leadership skills in managing and delivering similar packages within the offshore or marine environment
-The ideal candidate will have experience in vessel coordination, refuelling and crew transfer operations
-Demonstrable competency in leading and/or working within multi-cultural teams.
-Adaptive capabilities to manage offshore conflicts and management of change
-A sound understanding of working with charters / contracts and the interpretation thereof
-High level of communication skills and IT competence
-High regard and good knowledge of current UK health, safety and environmental legislation, particularly the application of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007
-Highly motivated individual with a pro-active attitude ensuring adequate interfaces, controls and communication are established and maintained in all aspects of project management.
