PA Dealing Compliance Analyst

A leading custodial bank and investment manager has a new compliance contract vacancy at it's head offices inLondon. This is a 6 month contract, and you will be based within the firm's central compliance team focussing on Personal Account (PA) dealing. This is an excellent role for a compliance professional in the early stages of their career that has knowledge and experience within market abuse prevention.

Responsibilities :

Personal Account Dealing compliance analyst description:

1 Reviewing trade confirmations received from brokers and matching to trade approval requests from staff.
2 Undertake analysis of data within the personal trading approval system to Investigate trades which appear suspicious or have been flagged for review in the personal trading approval system. These may be of a technical nature and an understanding of different investment types/securities and market abuse risks inherent in asset management activities is therefore necessary.
3 Deal with potential breaches identified in a sensitive and professional manner.

Necessary Skills:

* Good IT skills, particularly in excel.
* Previous compliance experience, particularly in market abuse or personal trading oversight would be advantageous.
* Candidates with professional compliance or investment management qualifications will be preferred.
* Excellent Attention to detail
* Understanding of different investment/security types.
* Ability to understand the firm's corporate policy, and ability to apply this in practice.
* Familiarity with front office books and records systems (e.g. the use of systems to review both client transactions on portfolios and trading carried out by the firm)

Degree or equivalent preferred

Salary: £200 - £250 per day
