P2P Systems Assistant

My Nottingham based client is seeking a P2P Systems Assistant/Purchase to Pay Systems Assistant for a 5 month contract.

The P2P Systems Assistant/Purchase to Pay Systems Assistant will support the day to day activities of the Purchase to Pay (P2P) team.

Key Tasks for the P2P Systems Assistant/Purchase to Pay Systems Assistant:
Process
* To ensure appropriate financial control for P2P
* Vendor Creations
* Manual Payments
* Journals
* Raise purchase orders for Finance team
* Disputed invoice resolution
* Suspense account reconciliations
* Goods Received/Invoice Received (GRIR) account reconciliation
* Checking of rejected Invoices
* Provide reports from SAP to Internal staff

Advice and helpdesk
* Provide SAP advice to own team and internal customers.
* Provide advice to external customers
* Monitor P2P email inbox.

Experience/Skills Required for the P2P Systems Assistant/Purchase to Pay Systems Assistant:
* Experience of P2P/Accounts Payable role using SAP financial systems.
* Good working knowledge of Excel including working with formulae and look up functions.

Desirable:
Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or similar - desirable but not essential
