P & L Analyst

My Client an international technology company based in Reading are looking for an experiences Profit and loss Analyst working together with the P&L Manager and Financial Controller, the P&L Analyst is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the UK P&L, with specific focus on operating expenses (Opex), reporting and analysis. Key Accountabilities Financial Control Month close journal posting for UK Operating Expenses Supporting the financial controller and P&L Manager, responding to ad-hoc requests

Maintaining the relationship with our outsourced provider for reporting and analytics services and month-end accounting processes, ensuring on-going process improvement and accuracy Reviewing financial processes to ensure appropriate design & implementation and effectiveness Analysing significant variances Engagement in projects to drive improved cost management in key areas Overseeing and maintaining the local UK bank account process including processing payments, banking miscellaneous receipts and maintain appropriate records Maintain bank signatory records Review of and input into monthly cash flow forecasting Reportingact with integrity at all times

Qualifications

Part qualified accountant or Qualified accountant preferred

Experience working in a financial controlling team preferred

Proficient in use of Excel is essential

Bookkeeping experience preferred
