OSS System Tools Administrator - Cramer, Troubleshooting

- Application experience of Cramer/Amdocs - OSS 9 is about to be introduced but not essential they have worked with it before - OSS6 is also good.
- Core understanding of telecoms network TCP/IP sub networks - will be asked this at interview
- Core day to day skills, linux Servers, Scripting as they come on line, database updating - what an updating statement could look like.
- Needs to have trouble-shooting experience
- On-call duty - 1 in 5 weeks someone could be asked to do a remote log-in from laptop at home - but this is rare - overtime on offer.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- System administration and account administration for OSS systems and applications, including Amdocs Cramer/Amdocs OSS9
- Life cycle management of OSS systems and applications (responsible for roadmaps, upgrades, patches, further developments)
- Customer relationship management
- User acceptance testing
- Software implementation
- On-call duty

REQUIREMENTS:

- High level knowledge of the telecoms network necessary
- Very good knowledge of databases, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Shell script, C, Java, Javascript,
- XML, SOAP, Windows Server, Backup- recovery systems, HTML, Perl, Python
- Proven Business Intelligence knowledge and experience
- Proven experience in OSS Fulfilment and Assurance
- On-call capability and flexibility
