Project description:

Improvement of data provisioning from Osisoft Process information (PI) to the customer`s EnergyManagement system.

your task:

-Analyse and implement (in Osisoft PI) independently energy usage based on detailed time series data (PI Tags)
-Currently, the values for the Energy Management system are only yearly averages and do not differentiate between different plant run modes. The implementation of this project aims to provide more fine grained data and calculations of different measured values from the power plant.
-Provide separation between plant status (production, standstill, start, stop) and between different energy users. Modelling with Osisoft PI Asset Framework and event frames.
-Documentation of the implemented solution in MS Office
-Implementation in cooperation with engineering consultant but self-responsible implementation in Osisoft PI.
-Work location is the powerplant for which the solution will be implemented. For this year they plan two German Plants (Petershagen (KW Heyden) and Nürnberg (KW Franken)).

Skill Requirements:

-Several years experience in OsiSoft PI system integration, PI Interfaces, PI Asset Framework, PI Analytics
-Several years project experience in energy sector
-Languages skills: German C2, English C1
-Team work skills, collaboration with german power plants (on site work) and central team
-Knowledge of costumer insights will accelerate the project (PI-infrastructure, PI system set-up, IT-infrastructure, PI use in daily business)
-Knowledge in power plant technologies
