OS Network Specialist

Our client is the world's leading computer components manufacturer seeking a OS NETWORK SPECIALIST to design, develop and integrate Linux network stacks and modules. We're looking for someone with 5-10 years of relevant work experience.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- In-depth knowledge of Linux
- Proficient in C Kernel level programming
- Knowledge and Linus network drivers - Knowledge of routing software, eg Click Modular SW Router, a plus
- Proficiency in Scripting languages (eg Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Proficiency with virtualized environment, eg KVM, to create, install and configure VMs
- Expected to develop extensions of Linux network driver, IP stack and Data Plane Development Kit
- Knowledge of Telecom Networks preferred

Estimated length of assignment: 1 year
Number of positions available: 1
Estimated hours per week: 40 standard hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Overtime not permitted without preapproval
% of travel required: ~20%
Telecommuting: Yes, at certain times
