Organizational Change Manager/GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Senior ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGER with STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF GDPR (GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS)

This is a contracting role planned to start ASAP until the end of January 2018 with extension opportunities.

Project Background

In this project the OCM Lead role plays a key part in supporting the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) Program to embed this important change in the organization and ensure a successful rollout for a relevant data protection technology and process framework

Tasks

- Responsible for defining, overseeing, and executing communication and change management program supporting the GDPR Readiness Program
- Lead and partially support recruiting of OCM coordinators, instructional designers, SMEs and change agents
- Design and management of communication and change management plans
- Create and manage metrics to roll-up and report on project level metrics and relevant KPIs
- Accountable for and supporting the implementation of OCM activities, incl. events, trainings
- Oversee set up and management of change agent networks as appropriate

Ideal Profile:

- 8+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FULL LIFE CYCLE of two or more ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROJECTS in a complex Matrix environment
- PROSCI or equivalent Change Management Certification Project Management Certification
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management skills, influencing and negotiating skills and flexibility
- Significant experience in managing internal and external stakeholders, coordinating multiple work-streams and managing organization change
- Development and implementation of Communication Plans and Change Management Plans
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE of GDPR (GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS)
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are required as a critical success factor for this role as is the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders
- Excellent English language skills (ideally English native speaker)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- TRACK RECORD OF COORDINATING OCM ACTIVITIES SUCCESSFULLY ON PROJECTS
- Structured approach, problem-solver, can-do attitude, flexible and self-directed with analytical skills
- Used to work under time pressure, with set timelines
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Gdrive, etc.)
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical environment will be an advantage
- A University degree in Communication Management will be preferred
- German language is a plus
