Organisational Development Manager - Workforce Planning

My client, based on the outskirts of Staines, is looking for an experienced Organisational Development manager to join their team on a contract basis.

Essentially this role will provide organisational design and strategic workforce planning expertise to the Global Business Services Finance, Procurement and IT leaders to deliver the organisational objectives of the company's operating model, with accountability for, but not limited to:

- Provide organisational design expertise and insights to support GBS leadership to shape the levels of organisation that support achievement of the operating model objectives
- Produce design work that demonstrates a holistic view and understanding of the complete operating model and interactions between functional areas, suggesting options and advising on the pros and cons of each.
- Support the leadership team to design new/revised organisational structures, including the definition of future opportunities for sustainable process improvement and efficiences
- Utilise strong OD methodologies and processes to assess, diagnose and propose solutions that optimise and enhance organizational effectiveness
- Define and prioritise organisational design projects, providing recommendations for resourcing requirements
- Lead work to further define and refine existing organisation designs, including the analysis of roles and accountabilities, accountability matrices and governance arrangements.
- Lead stakeholder management initiatives to align diverse views on organisational structure and accountabilities and work with OD resources in the operating companies to interpret and implement decisions in local context
- Oversee, partake in and shape all organisational design initiatives that are undertaken in the operating companies regarding relevant GBS functions, providing a framework that ensures consistency and a high level of rigour
- Review and interpret headcount and cost models and provide reports that support business and resourcing planning purposes
- Work collaboratively with the Change and Integration team and the business to design the change management plan to help the business areas achieve the required change
