Seeking a contract HR Director - Organisational Development & Design, People & Change for a Public Sector organisation in Bristol

Contract Length: 9-12 months.

Candidate can work full time or part time (3/4 days per week). An element of home work will be considered and there may be occasional travel to London. Client is seeking a strong Organisational Development & Designwho can build highly effective and influential relationships. They will possess a deep understanding of OD & Change principles and have a depth of experience in applying these to achieve positive and long-term outcomes for the organisation and their people. They will need to demonstrate the following: A depth of expertise in organisational design and development and change, providing strong and broad evidence of working at a senior and strategic level within these disciplines Ability to work effectively and at a truly strategic level, as part of a senior team Proved track record in delivering OD&D interventions which involved staff at senior/Board level Experience in making a positive difference in the areas of leadership, engagement, culture and long term capability Proven capability to deliver better for less' with an understanding of how to generate truly effective efficiencies

Developing a new comprehensive people strategy
Strengthening performance management
Talent management and succession planning
Strengthening internal communications to support
Business culture change
Supporting Directors to deliver change aspects of projects to deliver vision

Essential Experience:

Be a confident leader and manager, committed to developing the individual and collective expertise and impact of their team
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to make an impact at the highest level across the organisation and to work effectively with key stakeholders
Possess confidence, drive and personal credibility enabling them to build relationships to ensure that the HR & Communication teams are able to make the desired impact
Be an expert influencer/negotiator/communicator - skilled in facilitating effective outcomes in a variety of situations
