- The candidate will interact directly with research project leader to improve and implement new ideas to discover new electron donors for catalysts.
SKILLS:
QUALIFICATION:
- MS in organic chemistry or BS in Chemistry with two years of organic synthesis experience in the industry.
- Must be innovated, safety and detail oriented.
- Excellent in oral and written communication.
- PROFICIENT OR FAMILIAR WITH:
- Multi-step organic syntheses
- H-NMR, GC-MS, IR, HPLC
- Automated chromatography (Biotage system preferred)
- AccelrysDraw (or compatible drawing program)
- Search Databases (SciFinder, SiRius, or equivalent)
- Distillation
- Moisture sensitive sample handling
- Rotovaporizer (rotovap)
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge in modelling is a plus.
