Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience of working in a Chemistry laboratory
- Degree in chemistry
- Organic chemistry experience
- Experience and knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety best practice in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience of complying with GLP (Good laboratory practices)
- Comply with EHS and Quality regulations and policies
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Good communication skills and an ability to accurately follow methods
- Ability to conduct work in accordance recognized quality standards
- Flexible approach to hours worked
- Understanding of IT systems such as MS Office, Oracle, Lotus Notes
