Order Agent - IT Asset Management

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

SunGard Financial Systems provides mission-critical software and IT services to institutions in virtually every segment of the financial services industry. The primary purpose of these systems is to automate the many detailed processes associated with trading, managing investment portfolios and accounting for investment assets. These solutions address the processing requirements of a broad range of users within financial services, including asset managers, traders, custodians, compliance officers, treasurers, insurers, risk managers, hedge fund managers, plan administrators and clearing agents. In addition, we also provide professional services that focus on application implementation and integration of these solutions and on custom software development.

THE ORDER AGENT\'S PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Logging New IT Order Requests and submitting them for processing
* Tracking and updating request tickets with order status
* Povide clear, accurate and up to date information pertaining to the IT Order requests
* Communicate effectively with relevant parties when necessary
* Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required.

Position Requirements:

Experience:

* Pioritizing and organizing daily tasks to ensure response targets are met
* Strong interpersonal skills needed for interaction with peers and other support resources
* Experience in owning tasks and projects and seeing them through to completion
* Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge and experience
* Experience in a technology environment/familiarity with technology uses/terminology
* Eye for detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Proactive with ability to follow-up and chase
