Oracle Weblogic Architect

This 12 month contract opportunity is for an Infrastructure Architect to concentrate on the design of infrastructures including Servers, storage, workstations, Middleware, non-application software, networks and the physical facilities supporting the applications and business processes required by the client.

You are also responsible for the performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure and this role will support a large application migration program, requiring good knowledge of application migration methodologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Focused on Infrastructure solutions and designs to support the business processes and may also assist the Technical Solution Architect in providing detailed expertise enabling the assembly on a complete solution for a project
- Perform IT Infrastructure Architect Assessment
- Assess Architect Conceptual Infrastructure, Design Physical Infrastructure and Develop Infrastructure Component Specifications
- Analyse viability of Infrastructure Architecture
- Develop test plans to test application migrations
- Produce Infrastructure solutions using Middleware Oracle Technology stack (Weblogic, Wbcentre, OSB, SOA, ECM, OBIEE, IDM)
- Produce infrastructure solutions using 'Service Models' - Infrastructure As a Service, Platform as a Service and Application as a Service
- Guide teams to revolve critical issues during the design and build stages
