Oracle Technical Project Manager

THE COMPANY:
Our client is a large wholesale retailers who have locations in Ireland, UK and Spain. This well-known family run organisation provide Sales, Marketing, IT, and Supply Chain expertise to local retailers. In early 2015 they embarked on an exciting Oracle R12 implementation, and they are now looking for an Experienced Technical Project Manager to come on board to help effectively deliver this endeavour.
THE POSITION:
- You will have responsibility for managing the technical delivery of a large scale Oracle FI reimplementation project.
- Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will manage a range of areas such as infrastructure, Data migration and MQ integration teams.
- You will be responsible for the Oracle CEMLI team in addition to the above technical areas.
- This position requires management of a number of 3rd parties such as IBM, ITIM and Softco.
- You will be tasked with delivering areas of this project which include: performance testing, cut over and disaster recovery.
- This role will require a strong leader who can manage a team of up to 40 people.
THE PERSON:
- The successful candidate for this role will have over 10 years of deep technical knowledge.
- Development experience in areas such as SQL/PSQL is essential.
- Hands on Oracle Database management is required.
- It is essential that you have worked in the project management space for a minimum of 5 years.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable in infrastructure and operations management.
- You will have experience with performance testing and cutover management.
- Oracle EBS R12 experience is highly desirable for this role.
This role is a 7 month contract role and you will need to be available from Mid-October at the latest.
