Role: Oracle Functional/Technical Consultant

Duration: 6 months

Duration: Dublin, Ireland

ORACLE FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL CONSULTANT 10+ YEARS

Project Scope:

Advance data analysis for large scale migration & transformation

High level architecture, design & analysis.

Detail level architecture, design & analysis.

Large scale Data validation, cleanup & loading.

Processing very large volumes of data and determining inter-connectivity & lines of communication.

Identifying resources that can be migrated in a stay local environment.

Identifying resources that can be decommissioned.

Identify Third party connections and other critical dependencies.

Providing critical data for Assessment, Architectural reviews & Migration of Servers, applications, server types etc

Providing individual and mass assessment.

Covering knowledge gaps where exist and performing gap analysis.

Present large volumes of data in condensed & readable format for decision making.

Applying business rules and Architectural logic to processed data.

Applying functional & technical knowledge in developing next generation ADA software.

Business Intelligence, Data Analytics & Data Warehousing

Define database conversion specifications

Customize database conversion scripts and routines

Develop and implement procedures that will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data stored in the database

Perform and/or coordinate updates to the database design

Control and coordinate changes to the database, including the deletion of records, changes to the existing records, and additions to the database

Monitor the production environment

Design & Develop reports

Provide an estimated level of effort, as requested, for tasks

Provide weekly written status reports, based on the template provided

Attend status and other meetings as required.

Ability to understand business requirements, build logic and write code & deliver solution.

Strong functional & technical experience of building Oracle Business Intelligence & Data analytics platform.

Strong functional & technical experience of building Oracle Data Warehousing platform.

Strong functional & technical experience in building interfaces with Legacy & 3rd party applications.

Proficiency with sql*loader, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, unix Shell Scripts

Ability to design databases and normalization.

Ability to optimize code for faster processing of date & quick turnaround.

Experience with Bill of materials explosion & implosion logic & Asset management.

Ability to quickly adapt and respond to changing business environment.

Strong presentation skills.

SKILLS REQUIRED
