Oracle Systems Engineer for Berlin

LOCATION BERLIN,

1 YEAR CONTRACT.

Norconsulting is currently looking for Oracle Systems Engineer or Oracle DBA with extensive experience in Exadata machines.

The right candidate will have experience in the following areas:

- Hands-on experience with the Oracle Platform Infrastructure Products: Systems, Oracle Linux, Solaris, Oracle Solaris Cluster, Oracle Secure Backup (OSB), ZFS Storage appliance.
- Hands-on experience with the Oracle Exadata Platform Infrastructure releases Exadata Engineered Systems, ZFS Storage-Pool, OVM, Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Enterprise Manager Grid Control is essential, experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with those Oracle Software Products: Oracle VM Virtual Box, Oracle Database, Oracle Directory Server (aka LDAP)
- The following additional products and technologies will be an advantage: InfiniBand Network Switches, Network Firewall and load balancer, Java, XML, SQL, Shell Scripting.
- Strong Systems Administration Unix skills are essential, additional Linux/Windows skills are useful
