Oracle System Engineer with OID (Oracle Internet Directory) - English

For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for an Oracle Internet Directory specialist to join an existing project.

System Engineers are responsible for designing, evaluating, planning, developing, integrating, testing, deploying and supporting technical Infrastructure solutions. These solutions leverage both the re-use of existing and new technologies while driving towards common global solutions. System Engineers are responsible for working with production stakeholders to provide a stable and secure environment that ensures production stability, supportability and performance. The roles supports with analysing errors and the definition and introduction of corrective measures.
The role typically requires in-depth knowledge of current and emerging hardware, software, network technologies and software engineering principles. Career development in the role is achieved by widening and significantly deepening the know-how in one specific domain or - by significantly widening the knowledge base (eg spanning multiple domains) while at the same time deepening the know how.

We are looking for candidates with:

- GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF ORACLE OID
- Excellent Oracle skills (OEM development of great benefit)
- EXCELLENT SCRIPTING SKILLS (KSH)
- Familiar with working in a Unix development environment
- English speaking
- Nice to have: Completion of the CMDA project (Oracle 10g to Oracle 11g) DBaaS Development (enhancements and bug fixing)
