Oracle/SQL Server DBA is urgently required for a long-term contract with a major blue chip client in a great location.
KEY SKILLS
- knowledge and experience of the early detection and accurate solving problems
- analytical, precise and quality conscious
- can both independently and in a team
- You have proven knowledge of and experience with managing Oracle environments (10g and higher) and SQL Server environments (2005 and later)
- backup and recovery
- different operating systems: MS Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 and AIX 6/7
- SQL, PL/SQL and Shell Scripting.
- Performance tuning
- different high-availability solutions: Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, SQL Server
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (cloud control/grid control)
- disruptions proactively identify and find a solution in consultation with colleagues
