Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Developer ()

Je functie: For our customer in Brussels we are looking for an Oracle SQL and PL/SQL developer
You will be part of a small team of Networking/IT experts responsible for the network monitoring systems and network data extraction.

You will be involved in the development of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts to migrate data into the new inventory system from the current network inventory and extracted from the network.

This is a critical project for our customer with high visibility.

You have very good SQL and PL/SQL skills on Oracle 10 and 11
You have experience with large scale data migration projects
You have experience working in a Linux environment (as an end-user)
Experience with Redgate Source Control for Oracle is a plus
Experience with telecom (e.g. SDH, WDM, Voice, SS7) and IP networks concepts is a plus
Experience with a scripting language: Python, Perl or shell is a plus
You are "Best practices"-minded (naming conventions, code comments, standard design patterns, ...)
You have good technical writing skills to write short technical documentation (e.g. on Wiki) for the performed developments so the other team members can understand them in the future
You are fluent in English
