Oracle SOA Developer

Oracle SOA developer - Utrecht - 6 months - July 9th start

My client is looking for an experienced SOA12 developer. they are currently working on an upgrade process from SOA 11 to 12. This requires a change/modification. In addition, there is also sufficient work in the field of integrations with third parties via SOA12.

Tasks

* Converting existing functionalities from Oracle SOA 11 to SOA 12;
* Develop new functionalities;. Developing functionality in the field of calling REST APIs from third parties;
* Working within a multidisciplinary Scrum team;. Keeping track of new technological developments.

Requirements

* At least a completed HBO study program;
* Experience as an Oracle developer;
* Knowledge Oracle SOA Suite 12;
* Familiar with calling REST APIs from third parties;
* Work experience with Agile/Scrum.

Since its founding more than 20 years ago, my clients IT department has been managing all systems and developing its own applications in-house. These applications are used in more than 15 European countries and their full development takes place in the Netherlands. This is done by means of five Scrum teams that are currently working on completely renewing the different modules of their software package.

For this it is also important to look again at the used techniques and architecture and they are therefore busy adjusting it. To make the application future-proof, they are currently working on Microservices and with the transition from Oracle SOA11 to SOA12. As an Oracle developer, the ideal candidate is the expert who manages this transition in the right direction and you also work on new functionalities. One of these functionalities is in the field of calling REST APIs from third parties, which is a challenging project due to the international nature of the organisation.

To be able to contribute at a high level, it is important that you are an experienced developer and have a lot of knowledge in the field of Oracle. There is a big challenge waiting for you and you will be working on a highly motivated IT department. It is obvious that IT is not a cost item here, but a major strategic force to stay ahead of the competition.
