Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Build Manager

Projektbeschreibung

The DevOps team is located within the Service Delivery Management (SDM) organization of Client. The team is primarily responsible for the delivery of continuous integration, automated deployment and infrastructure support capabilities that support of all the strategic service enabled (SOA) platforms. DevOps is also responsible for developing and maintaining the tools needed to promote the applications, services and components delivered from project teams up through the environments (development   test   preprod   prod). The team is also the function within the organization that provides the configuration and asset management activities as part of the service transition phase of the life cycle.

Additional role related responsibilities include:

- Need to update and maintain all MQ related scripts that are part of the build and deployment process.
- Creating and changing MQ connections per requirement need.
- Ensure that all new service changes for each build are aligned to the specified environment connections strategy through the various MQ channels.
- Provide day-to-day support for the lower Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) environment operations, including build management activities.
- Support the deployment of new builds into the Test and PP environments according to the current promotion schedule.
- Updating and providing input on each ESB build and the configuration changes that were included per standard documentation.
- Helping to support and maintain the infrastructure such as Hudson, Nexus, Build environments etc. on a daily basis through the management and adjustment of these scripts.
- Ensure that all new service changes for each build are aligned to the standard service design governance model.
- Provide input on the type of orchestrations taking place for all service changes being requested for promotion.
- Provide guidance to ESB System Lead and projects regarding service version dependencies that may impact previous versions already deployed into higher environments.
- Provide day-to-day support for the lower Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) environment operations, including build management activities.
- Need to help support the update and maintenance of all ESB related scripts that are part of the build and deployment process.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Continuous Integration and Deployment skills:

Subversion, Git, Maven, Hudson

Programming skills:

Experience working on Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Python Scripting, unix Shell Scripting, Oracle Service Bus development, XML, BPEL

Good working knowledge of the following programming skills:

Java, Java EE (including Java Servlets, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), JSP, JSF), Spring, Jython/WLST

Server Technology skills:

MQ, Tuxedo, Oracle Service Bus, Weblogic Server & Portal, JBoss, Oracle Business Process Manager, ILOG JRules, Apache, Oracle BPM, VMware/virtual box

Operating System skills:

Linux (Redhat), Solaris, Windows (to a lesser degree)

Development Model & Tools:

Eclipse, SOAP UI testing, Confluence, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Play & Selenium (test frameworks)

NOTE: The team is managed using the lean/scrum method. The candidate will have worked in a similar development type environment ideally.
