System Dynamics have an urgent requirement for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join client team

Oracle PL/SQL coding in a technical environment including

- Dynamic SQL -literal and bind variables,
- Ref Cursors,
- Oracle Built-in Packages,
- Application Tuning,
- Views, Procedures, Functions and Triggers
- Creation of Index/Trigger/Constraint scripts

Skills Required:

- SQL tuning and Oracle query optimisation using cost based optimiser and other query optimisation tools
- Running and interpreting explain plans
- Building of and maintaining a large scale database in a technical environment
- Building Context and composite indices
- Understanding of how Service Requests are raised/resolved with Oracle via Metalink/My Oracle Support
- SQL tuning and Oracle query optimisation using cost based optimiser and other query optimisation tools
- Oracle database design & implementation of logical and physical data model
- Data model creation and maintenance in Oracle Designer
- DBA routine tasks eg roles, privileges, synonyms, schemas objects, tablespaces across multiple environments
- Working with Discoverer Reports
- Working with Oracle Reports
- Writing complex PL/SQL for Oracle Databases using the following features: XML, materialised views, advanced queuing, dbms_scheduler, UNIX Crontab, database links, blobs, clobs, and Oracle Spatial queries.
- Writing and execution of unit tests
