Our client is a tier one investment bank who is currently seeking a PL/SQL Developer here in Dublin on a contract basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Oracle/SQL Server developer who is interested in working in one of the most interesting parts of one of the world's largest banks. The successful candidate should have advanced database development experience as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

This exciting role is well suited to strong developers with a keen interest in investment banking. It offers opportunities to learn about technologies used in banking as well as ongoing training and the opportunity to work with and learn from technologists who are experienced in delivering large scale solutions.

The successful candidate will be working on a high profile project as part of a global team. The ability to co-ordinate with fellow team members is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oracle design and development
- SQL Server design and development
- Analysis of business requirements and issues

REQUIREMENTS

- Degree/Masters or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years post qualification technical work experience.
- Experience in Banking/Finance businesses a plus.
