Oracle PL/SQL Developer with Core Java

Oracle PL/SQL Developer with Core Java wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- At least Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Developer on a senior level using core Java and Oracle PL/SQL
- Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Design, database design and development as well as good knowledge of UNIX and Financial Services domain
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work as a part of a global team
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Implementing and delivering high quality software solutions/components for the Risk platform that conform to architectural standards
- Mentoring and leading developers, reviewing code/designs and ensuring adherence to standards
- Working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs
- Providing the systems needed by the Investment Bank and Wealth Management to manage firm wide Risk exposure of its global Front Office trading functions
