Oracle PL/SQL Developer Job

ORACLE PL/SQL DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bridgewater, NJ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Senior Oracle PL/SQL developer, who will have demonstrated strong experience with Meta Data driven ETL development.
- The role will involve development of PL/SQL programs to support automated integration of data using pre-configured metadata to support iterative development of a Clinical Data Hub.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience is required
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development
- The position requires a responsible, team oriented, security focused, well organized individual with strong communications skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly
- Persistent and dependable, especially with meeting deadlines
- Ability to work in an agile development environment with short cycles of delivery
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
- Senior level PL/SQL programming experience
- Unix Shell Scripting experience
- Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse principles and practices
- Data Integration and database technologies
- Experience with metadata driven SQL development
- Experience working with Dynamic SQL using stored procedures to support DDL/DML actions
- Performance tuning knowledge and good understanding of Query Plan optimization
- Preferred:
- Experience of working in a regulated development environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills are required
- Experience working with any ETL tool
- Exposure to other technologies like Web services
- Knowledge of Data modelling concepts
