Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Informatica Powercenter, Banking (Contract, Z

For an international bank based in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced and dynamic Oracle Developer with Informatica PowerCenter knowhow for a new 6 month contract in Zurich with a strong chance of extension.

ORACLE PL/SQL DEVELOPER, INFORMATICA POWERCENTER, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

This is a challenging new opening to work in a dynamic and international team responsible for a DWH used for assessing risk exposures, liquidity and cash flow modelling for stress tests and scenario analysis, and which populates transactions and banking products to the accounting statements on a daily basis.

Your role as Oracle and PowerCenter Developer will be to perform the following tasks:

- Planning, design and development of robust software for Treasury Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Liquidity requirements in a project with close interaction and relation to Treasury Business and its banking products
- Design and build of solutions in a complex and time critical environment to fulfil the new requirements of the liquidity program, Treasury Business and regulatory requirements
- Creation and documentation of the technical application design, as well as Datamodelling, design and analysis and performance tuning

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

- Graduate degree in Computer Science, equivalent education or qualifying experience
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle obligatory (queries, optimization, PL/SQL, partitioning, indexing)
- Extensive knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter (version 8.6.1 or higher) or other similar tools
- Sound experience in Unix (including Shell Scripting)
- Working experience in large DWH environments, datamart design experience as a plus
- OBIEE development experience (RPD, webcat) is a must
- DAC (Datawarehouse Administration Console) experience is a plus
- Banking experience is a plus
- Proactive and reliable personality suited to working independently or with a team
- Fluency in English (spoken and written), German as a plus
