Oracle PL/SQL Developer Contract

My Client, a Leading insurance company based in south Dublin is looking for a Senior Oracle Developer for a 6 month daily rate contract.

Excellent rate on offer for the right candidate.

Looking for candidates to have 5-6 years Oracle PL/SQL Development experience with at least 2 years working within the insurance sector. Experience working with a Unix environment is essential. Experience with Paxus, Life/400 or similar Life insurance systems is highly desirable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop and test of data software solutions
- Evidence of Life and Pensions Experience preferable 
- Strong knowledge of the Paxus Life/MVS system or Life 400 including knowledge of complex functional areas.
- Manage priorities and workload across multiple concurrent projects
- Performance tuning
- Facilitate code reviews
- Coordination of software environment release
- Data technologies research
