Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
As part of the regionalized IT team supporting European sites in production with the OMR/ATLAS2/Infocenter / Data warehouse standard architecture, the 'LRR' (Local Regulatory Reporting) Competence Center Europe (FCE) has been created.
The LRR-team supports the European branches (14 countries today) by fulfilling their local regulatory reporting requirements notably by providing automatic data feeds.
To achieve this objective, we build and maintain the data interfaces between our systems and third party providers regulatory reporting software, which is in most cases "WKFS" (Data Foundation (DF) / ReportGenerator).

Function Description
In our Developers team, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of our products and solutions.
Therefore, you will have to communicate regularly with all contributors on technical level in order to ensure the correct working of our applications which means: to test new versions of 3rd party provider products, to test any new versions from the upstream systems, adapt our interfaces if needed (PL/SQL dev), prepare and follow the installation for your development and the 3rd party provider tool.
Then, after some months, you will be also requested to communicate on functional level, especially to validate the business requirements, to discuss the solutions with our providers, to help the users during the UAT and to discuss the issues with our internal/external contributors.

Periodic Activities:
- Maintenance and support for our products
- Execution of non-regression tests in case of:

° New versions of upstream systems
° Changes in the parameterization of the source systems
° Changes in the regulatory requirements, which result into releases of 3rd party provider tool
- Programming in Oracle PL/SQL
- Job automation with AUTOSYS and Powershell (Windows).
- Support of local users during the test and validation phase as well as in production.
- Coordination of technical and functional items together with local users, central CIB and ITP teams and local and central teams of external provider FRS.
- Requirement analysis, and support for our interface ("Infoc2DF") for all countries in-scope together with the integration/test of the country specific Local regulatory tool.
- Report generation with Business Objects.

Non-periodic activities:
° Handling of incidents
° Direct contribution to operational permanent control framework.
° On-call support (every 4 weeks)

Education
Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in Computer Sciences

Certification
Oracle certifications, PL/SQL development certifications

Languages Requirement
French Basic
Dutch Basic
English Fluent

Experience
2-5 years + in a similar technical role.

Technical Experience
Mandatory
o Script programming under Windows.
o ORACLE database development background -programming in PL/SQL; SQL.

Preferable
o WKFS / DF product knowledge would a 'plus'
o Report development under Business Objects ('BO')
o Experience in SVN (source code versioning) would be a clear value-add.
o AUTOSYS knowledge

Preferable
Banking and Regulatory Reporting skills would be very useful.
